Akosua Naana Lexis Obenewaa Opoku-Agyemang is a dynamic and purpose-driven leader whose work spans across transformational coaching, strategic communications, and grassroots empowerment. As Country Director of Donnes Hope Foundation Africa, Akosua oversees the planning, execution, and impact measurement of the Foundation’s programs across Ghana. She provides visionary leadership in mobilizing resources, coordinating volunteer networks, and ensuring that the Foundation delivers on its mission to empower orphans, widows, and the elderly through education, skills training, health care, and entrepreneurship.
In her parallel role as President of the Smart Women Collaborate Movement (SWCM), Akosua spearheads high-impact advocacy, policy engagement, and multi-sector collaborations aimed at ending violence against women and girls and promoting economic inclusion. She also serves as Communications Lead – Projects, where she ensures that SWCM’s initiatives are strategically positioned and effectively communicated across diverse platforms.
With over 16 years of experience in communication, branding, media, and social impact programming, Akosua is known for combining visionary thinking with practical action. Her leadership across Donnes Hope Foundation and SWCM reflects her deep commitment to equity, dignity, and development at both local and continental levels. She remains a vocal advocate for inclusive leadership and continues to empower emerging changemakers through intentional mentorship and strategic engagement.
